DCA Airport Parking Options

Ronald Reagan Washington National airport

The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport has a very significant history. DCA opened to the public on June 16, 1941, with only one terminal (Terminal A). President Roosevelt attended a ceremony and observed the first official landing.

At the time of its opening, the airport had only covered 115,000 square feet. Today, DCA spans a total of 860 acres, including 127 acres underwater.

The Exhibit Hall in Terminal 1 (formerly Terminal A) is a great place to visit to learn more about the airport's history. Walking along the Gallery Walk features rotating exhibits to showcase the work of artists in the locality.

Public parking is available for 8,500 vehicles, with courtesy shuttle buses running from all terminals to the Economy lot.
