HNL Airport Parking Options

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, the largest airport in Hawaii, used to be Honolulu International Airport. It was renamed after Honolulu native and late Senator Daniel K. Inouye, who spent over 49 years representing Hawaii in the US Senate.

HNL covers 4,520 acres of land and four runways. Reef Runway, which runs 12,000 feet, is the first major offshore runway in the world.

You can stroll around the Cultural Gardens, one of the top-rated airport gardens in the world. The gardens that portray island life are influenced by Hawaiian, Japanese, and Chinese heritage. They surround the ticketing lobby and the E gates of the airport. The airport also has a variety of art displays and exhibits throughout the terminals.

HNL has a lot of travel-related businesses thriving within its center. Federal government agencies also have their offices within the airport complex.

There are over 5,300 parking spaces at the airport. Parking for more than 8 hours at HNL was announced to be $22 on January 1, 2023. It’s the first time that the parking rate has increased since 2015.
