Harry Reid International Airport is the main airport that serves Las Vegas, Nevada, for commercial flights.
LAS is located in Paradise, Clark County, 5 miles to the south of downtown Las Vegas. It has two passenger terminals.
Las Vegas Airport, formerly known as McCarran Airport, has been formally renamed Harry Reid International Airport. Previously named after late Senator Pat McCarran, the airport is now named after late Senator and Democratic leader Harry Reid. The name change was announced two weeks before Reid's death.
There is no other place like Vegas. Even if you don't like gambling, the food and concerts are entertaining options for a weekend escape. Don't forget to play a slot machine or two at the airport if you have a few minutes.
Be warned that it can get really hot in Vegas. Nonetheless, summer is the busiest season for LAS travel.

Your cheapest option for long-term parking at LAS is the Terminal 1 Economy Lot.
During peak travel periods such as the summer, the Terminal 1 Economy Lot tends to get full. Check the LAS airport website before you leave.
There are long-term parking options at Terminal 1 and 3 in case the Economy Lot is full.
You can park at any lot for less than 15 minutes for free. After that parking is $2 / hour for up to three hours and then goes up to $3 / hour in the Terminal 1 and 3 lots.
Valet is available for $6 for the first hour and $1 / additional hour up to $23 / day. For an extra fee you can have your car washed and detailed.
The McCarran Cell Phone Lot is a short term waiting area located only minutes from the Passenger Pickup Curbs at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
If you are able to use hotel parking, you may be able to find a great rate. Last I checked, prices ranged from $4 - $14 per day with the best rates found at Global Airport Parking, Way, and Greenbee Parking.
Depending on the lot you choose to park at the airport and the duration and the lot you choose, the rate of the parking lot ranges from $3 for 16 minutes, and $4 each additional 2 hour, or $2 per every 2 hours, with a maximum of $36 per day. On the other hand, long-term parking starts at $12 per day.
Yes. Parking at any garage at the airport, except the valet parking, is free for the first 15 minutes.

Unfortunately, LAS Airport doesn’t offer Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on-site. However, there are many EV charging stations around McCarran Airport.
